“The Good Book”

by

Have you ever wondered how anyone could actually read the Bible and still call it “The Good Book”?  I have.

Maybe it’s related to the reason people used to call fairies “The Good Folk“- to avoid their wrath.

Maybe people picked up on the Bible’s true nature, but being superstitious people, they believed in its power and wanted to avoid being smote.  Smited?  Crushed and burned like disease-carrying bugs?

It makes more sense than thinking they actually read it and still thought it represented “good”.

That’s assuming any of them had really read it.
